The Guishe Primary Distribution Substation (R/S) Civil EPC Project (Guishe R/S, 貴舍R/S) of Star Energy Corporation (SEC, 星能) has achieved another major milestone. Following recognition through several prestigious national awards—including the Public Construction Commission's Golden Quality Award (工程會金質獎), the Ministry of Economic Affairs'Quality Excellence Award (經濟部優良獎), and Taipower's Green and Environmentally Friendly Construction Site Award (台電綠色環保優良工地)—the project was honored with the Outstanding Engineering Award by The Chinese Institute of Engineers (CIE) on June 5, 2026 (中國工程師學會工程優良獎).

The Award recognizes engineering projects that demonstrate innovation, technical excellence, outstanding project management, and meaningful contributions to society and environmental sustainability.

As Taiwan's first substation project to fully adopt Precast Construction Technology, Guishe R/S successfully overcame complex geological conditions and a demanding construction schedule. Through strong teamwork and unwavering commitment, the project achieved all major milestones on time and to the highest quality standards while upholding the principles of Zero Occupational Accidents, High Efficiency, and Safety First. Its integration of low-carbon and green-energy concepts further earned high praise from the award selection committee.

Key Highlights of the Guishe R/S Project

  • Technological Innovation and Advanced Construction Methods

The project adopted Precast Construction Technology for major structural components, significantly reducing on-site rebar and formwork operations. This approach enhanced construction quality and precision, shortened the construction schedule, and minimized impacts on surrounding communities.

  • Quality Management and Occupational Safety Excellence

Supported by rigorous quality control procedures and standardized operating practices, the project achieved an outstanding record of Zero Accidents and Zero Injuries, establishing a benchmark for safety excellence in the industry.

  • Environmental Sustainability and Community Value

By incorporating low-carbon materials, extensive landscape greening, and an energy-efficient ventilation system, the project exceeded its original Silver-Level target and achieved Gold-Level Green Building Certification, demonstrating a strong commitment to sustainable development and community well-being.

A Shared Achievement

This award reflects the dedication, professionalism, and craftsmanship of every team member and project partner involved in the successful delivery of Guishe R/S. It is a shared achievement that belongs to the entire SEC team.

Looking ahead, SEC will continue to uphold its commitment to "Quality First, Safety Above All," delivering resilient, sustainable, and high-quality infrastructure that supports Taiwan's energy transition and creates lasting value for society.
