StarWind project is the first self-owned onshore wind farm of SEC. After preparation and obtain construction permit, construction officially started in March 2020. Located in the Xinbao dike area of Fangyuan Township, Changhua County. The wind farm includes three wind turbines. Each unit has a capacity of 3.45MW, which is currently the largest onshore wind turbine and a total installed capacity of 10.35MW. The project includes the construction of wind turbines and its main auxiliary mechanical and electrical equipment, wind turbine foundations, underground transmission lines and other surrounding miscellaneous works.
The overall installation of the wind turbines was completed in late September, and various electrical installations and test runs are now underway.Completed the energinazation on November 6, and it was the first wind farm which is starting operation among all wind farms in Hanbao area.
