SEC Company contracted Jan De Nul. " TAIWAN POWER COMPANY OFFSHORE WINDFARM
PHASE 1 PROJECT – DEMONSTRATION ONSHORE DUCT BANK WORK ". This project is located in Fang-Yuan Township and Dacheng Township, Changhua.
Export cables of the Windfarm arriving at land, south-west corner of Yongxing Tidal Land, Fangyuan Township, in the Changhua County, passing though the bottom of the existing embankment, connecting to the land cable at the underground manhole behind the embankment. The land cable shall than lead along the road behind the embankment to the highway 17, going southwards to highway 152, connecting to Taipowers’ existing Dacheng primary distribution substation.
SEC Company's projects are responsible for the following work scopes in all Onshore duct bank work, including Design, Procurement and Construction:
l Transition Joint Bay (TJB)-1 Set.
l 240*360*880 4 circuit cable’s Manhole:46 Sets.
l Open cutting 8”Fx16 Duct Bank :around 9.91 Km。
l HDD work: 15 Section，around 3.59Km。
This project began with relevant surveying, drilling, planning, and detailed design after the Start work date on June 4, 2018. In March 31, 2019, completed all of the duct bank and Manhole work and hand over to the contractor to proceeding the cable installation work.
From the start of construction on site to the acquisition of licenses, SEC has made every effort to carry out construction in compliance with the requirements of quality, work safety, and Compressed construction period, and achieve the owner's target of on-schedule power sell demand and commercial operation.
